Ok so in my opinion there is nothing sweeter than a super-cool back splash to top off a mid-Century Modern kitchen making it unique, lovely and awe-inspiring! Every modern (or traditional) renovation I design and follow through with has a back splash that makes the buyer’s heart pitter-pat, which leads to a FULL PRICE OFFER : )
The trick to installing the right back splash is knowing what your working with and complimenting the rest of the kitchen without being a “forgone conclusion” or an obnoxious, gaudy wannabe decorator. Some times it’s nice to add a little unexpected modern style in contrast with a tradition cabinetry (if that’s what your working with) or if your kitchen is monochrome add some color!
