Modern Simplicity! Divine design meets intoxicating Mid-Century Modern Renovation! A fresh take on a retro classic. This home has it all from the NEW glossy, white kitchen to the fun, original “Hollywood” bath. The moment you step over the threshold you won’t want to leave. The fresh designer paint and beautiful glowing hardwoods get an A+. The original tongue and groove wood ceilings are in primo condition and the HUGE Picture windows let in an abundance of natural light.

Are you an avid gardener? Maybe you just love flowers? This Mid-Century Modern Home has amazing mature gardens that boast endless amounts of perennial foliage all Spring and Summer. Plus if you need a gardener just ask Bill next door, he has lovingly been taking care of the yard and gardens for over 20 years. The covered front patio is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning cup of joe while smelling the floral fragrances and waving to the smiling neighbors.

If walls could talk this classic Modern gem would tell you stories from decades come and gone, Holidays filled with love and memories never forgotten. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this opportunity. “Honey pack your bags, we’re movin’ to 3664 Eaglerock Dr!”

Home is where the HEART is

September 12th, 2010

Jon & Kevin had us over for tamales the other night, what a treat!! this October will mark the year anniversary of their home purchase! We met when they were scoping out Northcrest and fell in love with a spectacular Mid-Century Modern renovation that was already under contract! Sadly, they put an offer in on another house in hopes of tweaking it and making it similar to the one they loved. I am a strong believer that things happen for a reason… The offer on their dream home fell through and when I called them to tell them the good news they were elated! A year later they have decked out their Mid-Century Modern replacing the carpet downstairs with travertine, adding museum quality lighting to showcase all of their folk art and topping each room off with DWR (design within reach) furniture.

5 SECRETS for installing the Perfect Back Splash

May 27th, 2010
by vanessa

Ok so in my opinion there is nothing sweeter than a super-cool back splash to top off a mid-Century Modern kitchen making it unique, lovely and awe-inspiring! Every modern (or traditional) renovation I design and follow through with has a back splash that makes the buyer’s heart pitter-pat, which leads to a FULL PRICE OFFER : )

The trick to installing the right back splash is knowing what your working with and complimenting the rest of the kitchen without being a “forgone conclusion” or an obnoxious, gaudy wannabe decorator. Some times it’s nice to add a little unexpected modern style in contrast with a tradition cabinetry (if that’s what your working with) or if your kitchen is monochrome add some color!
